Proline Body Mount Caps

    I have my slash set up with the Proline extended body mounts. Has anyone lost the mount caps? And if so what did you replace them with? I went to lowes and got some M4 wing nuts but don't think those will last long while bashing...[​IMG][​IMG]

    about the best you can do i think. or maybe a nylon nut if they have them

    if you have a fastenal close by check with them, They may not have them in stock but they shiould be able to order an acorn nut in MM.

    Even lowes & HD should have some of them but probably not in metric.

    Yeah. I hit the wing nuts with some plastidip (black). They look pretty good and serve the purpose

    Go to your local hardware store and get diamond thread grip Inserts in the size you need as well as rubber vacuum line caps to fit over the ends of the inserts. My srew on body mounts are homeade. This is what I used I will post a pic when I get home if you want me too. Out of these Inserts, and screw to match ran through the shock tower where the body mounts normally go [​IMG]
