you're going to need a 4 channel radio and receiver, 1 channel for the bucket 1 for the lift arm and 2 to drive the wheels 1 each side, a couple good servos like this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/2PCS-MG996...ruck-Racing-/222893749109?hash=item33e580b375 should be more than strong enough to work the bucket and the lift arm, depending on the model skid steer you have will decide the number of motors needed, a wheeled model will require 4 but a tracked model will only need 2 something like these should work https://www.ebay.com/itm/DC-3V-12V-...414981?hash=item3d21396685:g:j8sAAOSw32lYrT3M, you will need to run 1 30a esc per side, the single 30a should run 2 of the motors I mentioned earlier, if using a wheeled model, and will fit better in the chassis https://www.ebay.com/itm/Turnigy-brushed-30-amp-30a-30amp-ESC-Brushed-Speed-Controller/171457240490?_trkparms=aid=555017&algo=PL.CASSINI&ao=1&asc=20150817211709&meid=1dd9bfe16dbb40429fb98f8485cb9e91&pid=100506&rk=1&rkt=1&&itm=171457240490&_trksid=p2045573.c100506.m3226 unfortunately you will have to figure out how to mount the wheels or drive cogs for a tracked model to the motors since i've never actually done the conversion myself, but youtube has a number of videos that should be able to help with that

unless you buy continuous rotation servos or convert servos to be continuous rotation for the drive system then yes you have to have the esc, or 2 of them in this case, here's a video of someone doing the servo for a drive system on a wheeled version, it could be adapted to a tracked version easily I think if that's what you have
