savage x 4.6

    Has anyone tryed putting twin fuel tanks on the savage x 4.6 ? or atleast a larger one?

    Sure, there are a lot of modifications for a nitro Savage, and one of them is the mid tank mod. Relocating everything from the radio box and on the place where was the radio box you put a tank. Majority of people use OFNA 250cc or Mugen 150cc tank. It also reduces half tank lean.

    that looks awsome. how did you mount the servos? Im still learning. I got a post of of my trail truck on here for my first build

    The servos are mounted using servo mounts from Fast Lane Machine I'm also using their lower center if gravity extended chassis plates (TVPs) so every thing bolts right up. I custom fabbed the tank plate from 1/8" scrap aluminum I had laying around. The throttle linkage is from OFNA same as the tank. I used a slash receiver box and a hpi rush battery box for the battery and that's mounted to the front shock tower.
