Scale-ish engine builds

    [MENTION=2]RCSparks[/MENTION].......man what a wake up call i got this morning turning on my computer and see the just overwhelming responce to my tinkerings. Seeing the responce on facebook to your sharing this, and then logging into the forums and all the wonderful comments i'm just so taken aback by it all!

    Today i finnished up the drifter engine bay. Added a couple more details, and i can now call it done.

    I agree with Crawler Ted this is an amazingly built engine and it really look awesome in your engine bay as well. That's one of the best I've seen out here and others think that as well. I mean you got DJ MEDIC himself sharing this build on his own Facebook site. What an honor you've earned yourself. Congratulations on accomplishing that.

    The straws: Probably should have given them a light sand before paint, as after a couple nose plants drifting the paint already is flaking off. Not too much of a fix there. [MENTION=130]Crawler Ted[/MENTION]! Thanks man! I've just watched your latest drifting vids, and having had drift mission there you would have seen some pretty darn cool engine bays!     This motor has a brushed 55 turn motor and gear reduction inside of it.

    I built all these motors about 5 years ago. I think the last one was about 3 or 4 years ago and that was the SRT Hemi.

    The last picture shows parts that was left off so that the heat wasn't trapped. I could install fans to move air over the motors.

    Im better at using my computor for things like this so i model my engines then the plan is to get them printed

    LSX's in some Defender 110's

    An engine i modified for a competition in a game started life as a low detailed VW Rabbit engine and was converted to twin cam with a massive turbo and such

    These are awesome mate! have you got any of them printed yet? I don't have the skills to even comprehend making soemthing like this and this detailed. Hats off to you man!

    Closest one to getting printed is the Cummins as thats a bout the right size to go into a Dingo and Defender * my challenge truck defender is hopefulley going to be cummins powered

    HAahahaha cheers man!! Think that'd be a bit beyond my skill levels in modeling. But one of these days i may just get around to making moving ones. :)
