My to most expensive R/C's. Damn you AXIAL!!!!! :-D
It's funny that. The slowest rcs are the most expensive rcs!!
because I am to lazy to do my own build tread. Here are a few more pics of the murderyota. Made a couple of pull pals for @drzoo2 and myself.
It's good to know a pro welder!
Dang Bud your pull pal makes mine look worse than it is, but hey at least I made mine myself too and I still learning to weld too!!
Trying to get some video while holding the phone is a pain...... so.....
I got bored and made this from left over styrene.
Holds my cell phone and mounts to the top of my controller.
Riding ATV this weekend and of coarse taking the Wraith and Chevy. Will be a great chance to try this out.
That is a brilliant idea!
That Chevy looks good. What kind of glue and paint works on the new-bright bodies?
I have that Chevy body and one of the jeeps.
I fixed a couple of cracks on the body using Plastruct for Styrene. It seemed to work well. It took more to soften the plastic compared to using it on styrene. The drop bed is sandwiched in styrene so it really isn't glued to the body.
I lightly sanded the original body and used three coats of Tamiya hard body primer. I wet sanded the primer with 2000 grit to knock off the high spots between each coat. Then shot on color also wet sanding in between.
Spent last weekend in PA riding ATV, Drinking, and a little RC........all in that order!
Figured I would throw it in this thread since I really got to run the Chevy. I also grabbed some video using my camera mounted remote mod.
Enjoy the video!
The chevy looks good Bud!!
Less than 2 weeks to go!
Few more goodies before I go....
First some MIP goodness. I had to pick up a short shaft for the rear because of the wheelbase on this body.
Next, some cheapo drivers form Wallymart. I hope these work. They may need a little massaging but for $4 who cares.
Finally. Plastidip to the rescue......
Dipped my BEC, receiver and painted the bottom half of my control board to protect the receiver which sits at the bottom of the chassis. I am not planning on completely submerging the RC. Scale water crossings at the most.
That's one cool and clean build sir.
I decided the two drivers I bought were not going to work without some major surgery so today I picked up the only Wrestler I could find that had cloths on. After some minor reconstructive surgery I have a driver. I managed to save his feet but I had to shorten his legs a bit.
I tried to find a female anything to go with him. Looks like he's taking this trip alone.
Regulations require roll age padding in areas that the head may come in to contact with the roll bar!!
Thanks , I have the same body with a yellow cab and black bed
Hanging with drzoo2 last weekend at his castle
My messy bench at my house.
Hmm....I don't remember .....
I'll buy them a helmet.....
He found a new girl friend so his mind is on other things....
LMAO! That explains the scratches on the roof
