Another person building a dually. I would like to see what you use for rims on the rear axle.

LOL, I have to agree, this Dually Honcho thing might be the start of an epidemic. I, for one, seems to have caught it too!

After 5 hours ( I seem to be getting faster at this every time) Shes all done except the body that isnt here yet, but im going to take a twist on the stock honcho body paint it and throw it on the truck for now so I can test drive it out on the trails. Heres the finished truck and some comparison shots from a bone stock scx10 and my beefed up badboy scx.

Just the stock 1.9 beadlocks, even tho now im tempted to put 2.2's up front and 1.9's on the rear to see what it looks like. I might upgrade the rims later on and change out the tires but flatirons have never let me down

Just waiting on my permanent body to get here for it to be 100% complete, but I have a little secret up my sleeve until then. I'll be modifying my stock honcho body and doing something I've never done paint wise on it to keep as a spare body or to swap out since I have a pile of stickers from aftermarket parts on the truck on top of the scx graphics sheets. should have pics up later, that is if I can ever get off of here LOL

Alright everyone, heres the final set of photos in the SCX10 big boy build until I get my Dodge body. I ended up playing around with the honcho body and when I was done I realized I spent 8 hours working on it alone! Anyway TAAADAAA here she is.

Holy cow, fantastic build update, bro! This big boy SCX-10 looks really cool, especially with high lift look and of course, that dually treatment!

never tried painting with anodized paint before, and it shocked me how it still lets light through and gives the truck the appearance of ground effect lighting. Those shocks are what made the truck, of course and the duals. I might have to upgrade to 2.2's on this truck, but I cant bear to part with the duals. Btw Dan, I saw your truck tagged on facebook, looks great so I had to tag both of mine lol

Hey Crawler if you want I found a real set of dually rims. I ordered my set last night and the tires to go along with it. If you want to know I will grab part numbers. I have Tom from proline looking into a set of beadlock dually rims for me as well just do not know what I want yet. The rims I ordered are 1.9's.
