scx 10 motor help

    hi all im plaining on building my first rc truck , and when to my local hobby shop to look at the tekin fxr package but there is two different types of motors.

    woundering if anyone can help me couse i ask bloke in the shop and he didnt now.

    motors are:
    tekin hd motor 35t
    tekin pro motor 35t


    if anyone can help me out please

    im running the tekin 35T HD motor and it's awsome and i want to get the tekin fx-r esc so i would go with them if you got the cash the 35T HD motor is very good to have.hope this helps you some and good luck! the pro is hand wound i think thats about all i know about the pro.and the other means heavy duity

    Same here. I have both: the Tekin 35T Pro on my SCX-10 and the Tekin HD 35T on my Wraith. Both very good motors. You can't go wrong with either one, but if you need to choose I vote for the HD.

    Wondering why the pro is a little more tho? Cuz it's hand wound maybe?

    tht is also wht im woundering do i pay more and get better or do u got the hd and go on everyones advice

    I would say go with what you can afford. They are both good motors so to me it's a toss up.

    I believe the HD motor is the newer one of the two.

    yeah the HD has upgraded ferrite magnet it offersnew look and better performance with the same great tekin quality you know and trust. so thats what ther add says in my book lol.
