Hi guys, suggest me a brushless combo for my mini alligator tours, I come from the land side of the hobby , so I have no idea of what to put in it. Thanks,

    Nick

Those those won't sadly. It's a airboat . Which uses a 380 can motor, so maybe a 1/18 vxl? I can see spending 150 on a system, more than the actual boat lol

I didn't even think of castle creations lol , thanks ! Only issue is it's not water proof, unless they make a sidewinder 3 1/18? Sure will post some vids, maybe one this weekend for a comparison to when I go brushless. Yeah these boats are cool, for 100 bucks you can have a lot of fun.

I don't think any of them are claimed as 'waterproof' besides Traxxas. Or you can diy waterproof which is another option.

I know the traxxas 1/16 cars use a 380 sized brushless. It's waterproof too.

If I you want to DIY would be easiest to dunk the esc in resin and use a sensorles system.

If I budget is an issue the there is this setup from hobby king

TrackStar 1/18th Scale 12T Brushless power System (5050kv)

But people have had varied experience with this stuff ... Myself is okay.

I found this[IMG] it seems like a good option. I whould buy a vxl but I can't see spending more on the combo than the boat lol
