    Hi guys,

Looking at putting in the Mamba Monster X in my Summit (still doing a lot of motor research) but I am trying to figure out if I need new batteries. Any calculation I have done only seems to give me 2 or 3 minutes... so I am not sure if I am doing this correctly.

-Motor would more than likely be the Neu-Castle 2200kV 120A
    -I have 2x 7600 mAh 2S 25C Traxxas LiPo
Series would be 4S 7600mAh (would it become 50C as well?)
Parallel would be 2S 15200mAh (does it remain 25C?)

I am not to focused on speed, but I do want it to be better than stock. Main focus is certainly crawling and having it perform smoother.

    Thanks in advance.

The c rating stays the same.
7600 mah with a brushless system at lower speeds and trailing you should get hour+ run time

    Thanks summitnut.

I might look at getting some better batteries in the future as my main running batteries. These are good for now at least.

Just searching through other posts, I ran across the SMC True Spec 11.7V 7400mAh 90C batteries.

Is 90C safe to be used on this setup?

No such thing as too high of a c rating.
The motor and esc pull what they need as opposed to the batt pushing power.the higher c rating will make it so the batt doesn't have to work as hard to supply the power that is demanded.
That =longer battery life and everything should run cooler.electronics and heat are not the best of friends.
Smc has a good reputation for batts
