Well i got my wife the CC01 Unimog for christmas. She loves it and built it in a couple of days.
We have now started doing detail parts on it. One of the things i also got her was a 3 Racing winch. I was unable to find a winch bumper to suit the mog so i set to making my own.

Next up is a canvas back but i have not worked out the final design yet but it will be held in place by strong magnets so as not to weaken the body and to make it easy to remove.

Thanks dude. We are pleased with how it is turning out.
We had it out on the trail last night along with my sons CC01 Pajero and my Honcho. I think the mog could do with slightly larger and more aggressive tyres. It struggled in some places where the Pajero did not despite being on the the same chassis and wheel/tyre size.

I am writing this for the couple of people who bother to read my posts (thanks guys it is appreciated)
I have now fitted the to shackles to the winch bumper and i have to say i am pleased with the result.

I am trying to persuade the wife that the mog just needs some slightly larger more aggressive tyres to complete the look and help it perform on the trails.

Haha awesome, my wife probably wouldn't be so excited to see new tires. Is the unimog a kit or RTR?

It was her first kit build. I got my son the CC01 Pajero and my wife the Unimog for christmas then they built them together.
She enjoyed it even more than i expected. She now wants a G made sawback for her next kit.

Joker777, I just got my first off roader, a dingo, but I was looking into the cc-01, both the mog for me and the pajero for my wife, so we can easy-ish trail together, that is some awesome work, and I may take inspiration for my own builds on them!!

Thankd Seamus. I have to admit that i am a bit of a tamiya fan, they wont trail as well as an SCX10 but they do very well indeed and look good to.
