Well I was going to shorten the semi to build a plow, but changed my mind. So this is my Grand Hauler build. The kit is mostly put together, just some detail stuff and changes before I shoot paint on it. The Grand Hauler is the same as the King Hauler in most regards. The Grand is about 3 inches longer and has some different chrome bits and full fenders for the drives. Not a fan of the way the stock bumper sat and I don't like the over sized visor, so I cut off the bumper bracket and will make a new one. I shaved down the visor, its not perfect, but better than it was.
    On to the photos.
Tiny parts... the hardest part of the build. Took me a couple hours before it was together.

The kit has the 1/4 fenders along with the full fender. The stacks have plastic turn outs that can go on the top, but I don't like that style of stack. And the way the bumper sits out of the box, also drives me nuts.

Tucked the front bumper, just need to fab up a new bracket for it. It looks so much better.

Trimmed the visor a bit. Mainly I just cut it so the outside edges are the same height as the center. Also miter cut the stack.

Also trimmed a bit off the stack mounts so they tuck up against the cab a little more.

And finally to fill in all the odd things in the back of the sleeper, some plastic putty made by Tamiya.

You make me want to get a King Hauler! So much potential for creativity. Nice job refining it.

If you have never put a 3 speed transmission together, it is something you really need no distractions and some time to get right. I had it mostly together before I found out I had one shift fork in the wrong spot. And those tiny E clips are a pain.

Looks sweet. Mind me asking some good places to pic up a kit either grand or king hauler at a decent price?

I picked mine up at KJ's pharmacy here in Twin Falls Id. As that is the only local place that carries more than ECX. He was pretty much the same price as any of the online places I looked for the kit which was $550. Plus side no shipping and no waiting.
