I love 2wd but man once i tasted short course 4wd that's it lol. pretty much all my 4wd rcs are pretty easy to open up and get the diffs, this one is just as easy.

front end completed, however when you get to Bag I there are 4 button head screws, M4x18mm (tkr1448) these need to be m4x16mm to stop any binding issues. You can use a 1mm shim or just take 2mm off the screw. Tekno is aware of this and mentioned next run of the EB48 will have shorter screws.

Should also point out a caliper is a great help with this build.

Must say really enjoying this build, everything feels and looks very durable and heavy duty!

and just about done, Still waiting on metal servo horn (stock plastic tends to break) and pinions.

I do have a traktion drive however the metal spur gear is still out of stock, the stock composite spur is just not up to the traktion drive.

hey howse, how did you end up going with the EB48? be interested on your thoughts on the Tekno, as I have a SCT410 on the way. also thinking about throwing in the traktion drive.

really love the look of the EB48, everything looks so heavy duty. do you have any running vids of it?

    Very nice build.
EB48 is first buggy developed for electro brushless from the scratch.
Everything was designed to handle huge torks and power of lipo.
Very rear kit and perfetly assembled.
    Bravo.
Rep points and 5star rating for the thread!

thanks :) at the time I was hunting for a 1/8 electric buggy someone told me of the Tekno buggy and I just had to have it, the first of its kind. Tekno as a company are fantastic and i'm happy to buy anything from em.

Diablo: No running videos yet, I have tried it a bit and its a blast to drive, I still need to do some tweaking but then I had no time due to Nitro season :)

most common problem issues at the time was the ackerman plate breaking, but tekno has already fixed this issue.

Cheers for the info. Will keep an eye on the akerman plate as the sct410 and the eb48 are about 95% identical I think. Might already be fixed in the sct410.

Been a while. The tekno has sat on the shelf for far too long. So I thought I would try at least get the body sorted.

Grabbed the wrong cans when I did the logo on the top so I the contrast is not the best, but it does the job. Must have been over 12 months ago I put the liquid mask on the shell and worked brilliantly even after so long on the shelf.
