Anyone have a scx10 I could buy for like $200
Well don't feel bad OKCrawler, looks like I'll be working this weekend myself.I got the word today tht the job I'm on has to be done by Sunday, since we are going to another job that is 6wks behind and we haven't even stepped foot on the site yet.
Hey some of have to work to pay the Easter Bunny!!LOL
so far I only have to work tonight and should be off sat. and sun.
Trying to decide on new tires for my Wraith, HB Sedonas, HB Rover EX or Pro-Line Chisels? Other suggestions are welcome too, I just can't decide....
ready to go to for a little drive
Happy Easter all. To those who had to work through, bugger but think of the money. Have to pay the piper don't you
Those vanquish upgrades look boss. Let us know how she performs with the chassis mount kit.
Hey Chris looks like a good start, but if you took that pic with an iPhone put the volume buttons on the bottom as the pic is upside down for the rest of us (bin there meself!)
Love the look of that jeep @walter. The whole thing scales in nicely.
As for myself, we had all of the rc's that worked out and I finally replaced the motor in my buggy. Went from a tamiya sport tuned to a reedy 13 turn motor. For under $20 it's a blast. I'm thinking about getting a few more of them for the shelf. Castualties for the weekend......
- my sons monster jam truck snapped the rear upper and lower control arm with an altercation with a ken block drift car.
- the drift car needs a new slipper clutch shaft as its snapped in an unrelated incident.
- and my car is about to loose the front suspension hangers as they're almost snapped off
So now I'm of to write a rant at traxxas as their website is useless if you have a model that is no longer in production.
Is there a way to get your parts?
Well I remembered that I had downloaded the exploded diagrams a year ago onto my work usb. So a quick trip to amain had the parts ordered, but if I didn't have the diagrams ..... I would say that a trip to google might have revealed the info, but I would probably posted here as I know the are a few of these trucks on here.
Oh ya, didn't think about that.
So I got a response......
The monster jam trucks are no longer in production and the documentation is no longer available. The stampede uses the same parts tho.
That's essentially what the email said. I think they missed the point of my email, either that or I didn't make myself clear. I've been sitting on this for a day or so as I needed to collect my thoughts on how best to reply
Well, response sent. To me this would akin to an IT vendor saying we are no longer going to provide a driver for our printer as its now out of production even tho we used to.
I have 4 of the Traxxas MJ trucks and paperwork for all of them. What info did you need?
Not sure about shipping costs but the a-arm are available here...
Same parts as the xl5 2wd stampede
Many thanks @Dazed. Much appreciated, but I found the info I needed. Now I am just trying to make a point to Traxxas and see if I can improve the support that they supply to the hobby. This isn't the first time I've ha this issue. Had it also with the KB gymkhana car. Now I know it's also the 1/16 VL rally but there was a moment in time where neither of the vehicles were available and I ended up with 1/16 erevo arms!!
Five days from the last post,,,
Well now,we cant have that.
Ok if other are starting to stop ill keep posting
As i bump in to you in the street. i'll say sorry but when you go to the store to buy whats on your list. you soon realize that 20 is gone. haha and it's mine now.
I'm sorry but I noticed it missing and decided to follow you and take that $20 before you could pay for your stuff
Oooooo just bought a bottle of nitro and a new glow plug. It's getting closer to firing time. Just need to cut the chassis out now
