it is pretty long and i'm glad I found the one I did, now I need to extend the motor wires mount my other esc and hunt down my receiver for my spectrum dx2e, getting much closer with only the bec and 1 more servo left to buy to make it a running driving fully functional rc.

servo #2 came in and installed, mostly, I need to replace 1 rod end with a shorter one, the link is a little to long, and i still need to find my receiver and see if it's going to work without a reverser or if I'll need one, not sure yet, motor w/ gear #3 is in too, still not wired up to the esc but it's in, need to finish mounting esc #2 and connect them. i'm going to try running it with 2 axle steering before I order servo #3, i'll try to test run it in the next few days, but I don't expect much power from the servos until I get the bec.

well here's another little update, IT'S ALIVE bwah hahahaha, no video yet, I can't find my tripod, but it's running, driving, and doesn't seem to need the 3rd servo or the bec, but you can bet that as soon as I do i'll post video of it in action, there's some minor tweaking to do, aligning the steering and making a battery hold down, then cosmetics, cab, bed, paint ect. i'd like to thank everybody who stuck with me on this build.

sorry guys, haven't gotten that video I promised yet, been helping my aunt and uncle get stuff moved to their other property, and it's been to dark to film by the time I get done, but should be free this weekend and hopefully I can get it done.

the monster 6x6 next to the f150 6x6, just a little size comparison, the body on the monster is off my hg p601 with the bed cut off, I plan to build a flat bed maybe a headache rack, and the section under the rear doors where the original wheel wells were, not sure if you can see it, but I plan to run a set of stacks through, I have tons of room so I may add a smoke kit too.

had a little snag, not with the truck, it's running good, but with my camera, thought it was on video, but it was on photo, so all I got was one pic then ran for 20min thinking it was filming, oh well i'll recharge the batteries and try again tomorrow. but it does seem to have some power, I was pulling my niece down the street on a skate board, and she's about 85 pounds.

we bought these for my brothers crawler, don't know if they're the length you need, they go from 105mm to 150mm, they are either an unbranded junfac shaft or a knockoff but seem pretty good so far.

decided that even though it turns fine without a servo on the center axle I may go ahead and put one on just to relieve the pressure put on the rod ends and links on that axle during turning.

just spent a couple hours redoing the upper link mounts for the rear axle, originally I used 2 aluminum servo mount plates of a maxstone10, but took them off and replaced them with a couple sections I cut off the ends of a frame plate from a maxstone 10, they're much more secure and gives me some adjustability on the upper links, i'm also considering changing the hex adaptors for those from a maxstone 5, it's already 14 3/4 in wide but another 2.4 in, making it 17.16in, wouldn't hurt it any.

i'm going to have to upgrade the gears in the front and center axles 1st, especially if I upgrade the esc and go with a 4s lipo, the rear axle is already upgraded.
