Well i got a toy grade on road rc at good will a few months ago for like 2 bucks and it is worth new $120. I didnt have a controller so i started modding making it work.

    Got the electrics out

I had to take out the old servo just because i didnt have a ground wire for the reciever and it would just go full to the right and not centering or turning it was just a motor not a servo
    Different servo in and mounted

I used and old xl-5 esc that used to be in my stampede and cut the connectors and twisted the wires and shirk wrapped the connection

Then i started to dremel a spot out for the battery and weakened the chassis a lot so i bent some steel to make some brackes

This is just a size comparsion to my stampede(which i took the servo out off). [IMG]

It goes about 7-10 miles and hour topped out. It also has two gears.

    Thanks for looking
