Traxxas all the way. Almost every Hobby store carries Traxxas parts.

Go traxxas, lot more durability for the price, slap a ez run brushless system in a 2wd or get brushless from the start and it'll last for years the madbash lasted medic for a couple months

i ended up getting the raptor (2wd slash)
i think im just a little to hard on it because in the first couple of weeks i broke the front and rear baring Carriers the caster block and the stock motor and one of the shocks. not to mention the hardware that broke in the process

traxxas, i do not recommend exceed whatsoever. Availability of parts is horrible. Build quality is okay but less rigid than traxxas. Ive had an exceed and i currently have a slash 2wd vxl. I would choose traxxas hands down.

i would most definatly go with the traxxas i personally didnt have very good luck with the parts and service with them actually it was kindaok it was extremely hard to get both from exceedand i believe that is why CKRC Crawlers stop selling exceed products just my opinnion
