    Lookin into grabbin a first drift car, saw the c10 body on a v100s rtr and love it, any idea if its a good platform to start on? any known issues with them, things to know, etc. pfa and thank in advance for the help [​IMG]

    Great electronics, would upgrade servo first. Throttle control will save the motor from cooking itself.

    good to know, is this a truck/car I'm gonna be able to practice drifting out of the box till i get a good handle on it then start upgrading? or is the servo someting i should look into doing immediately?

    Drifting... Although I'm no expert. Requires a Fast Servo, but not much Torque.

    any suggestions on a fast servo? been crawling for awhile now but havent done much by way of electronics yet

    Something 0.15 or quicker. Many people use the Blue Bird Servo https://hobbyking.com/en_us/servos/blue-bird.html because it is budget conscious (I have never used one). I'm not a Drift Guy, so all I can say is do your research... LOL. What are the specs for the stock servo???

    Oh ya also I would steer away from purchasing a High Voltage Servo (Drifters don't need one) for a Drifter unless you also want to buy a BEC also... Which you don't need either. lol. If that makes any sense?
