Hey Jeff, are those 2.2/3.0 trenchers? That wheel and tyre combo is exactly what I want. Just worried about the offset of the wheels. Do those rims give a narow track compared to like BFG rims? Thanks.

Man you won't regret it. Haven't even run my Tekno yet but so impressed with it.

As for what I did to my sct today. Well I looked at it longingly, and checked the eta of the Tekin RX8, cried a little as it's at least a month before I can get one, then cried a bit more as my never run pro4 is now superseded by the pro4 hd. Then I delicately ran my hand across the flotech body that's crying out for paint. Twisted the new 17mm hubs that need buggy wheels and Cried a little more, so close to running but so far away. After playing with the mechanical breaking system, I decided that my sct has put me in a bad place and I have turned this thread in to soft core rc porn (or worse, a bad romantic comedy) and I should sign off......

Well I waterproofed my Apache SC esc, seams to be ok so far, gave it a hose down and it still works. I used liquid tape, I couldn't find any plasti dip around my local hardware stores.

I do have some parts that i havent installed yet like fornt and rear shock tower (RPM) , Rear skid plate, rpm bumper mount and motor protector, jconcepts ford raptor highflow body and a few mis parts. I have a couple pics on my profile gallery but more and better to come (my camera was stolen so im using my crapy phone). Well the mail man is here with more goodies.....oooohh yeah

    Traxxas has some new shoes.

Just glued up and mounted my RPM Revolvers wheels with some proline Badlands. Body will have some rubbing issue's, need to figure out away to cut the body to fix the rubbing or get adjustable body mounts. Thinking of cutting body up, truck has a good stance. If anyone has a better idea please share, NEWBIE here so your input will be greatly appreciated.

Some offset wheels might have not rubbed. Too late now I guess but it looks awesome!

Are they BFG's in the background? If S2 compound, how long do they last?

They are the BFG's that came on the rig still have plenty of tread left, just wanted some new wheels and tires to change the look. But I feel they last, I have done most of my driving on concrete roads and they still have tread not like new but not worn out to where it cant do any trail or sand driving. And in regards to the my rig thanks for the comment, going to trim the body i have a idea to do it will post a few pics once it is done.

How many packs on average do you guys think Traxxas Hard compound BFG tires and/or Pro-Line M2 compound tires will last with a mild 4x4 Brushless system 50/50 onroad/offroad driving... 20,40,100?

Well today or yesterday rather i installed my trenchers on redline beadlock wheels, installed a rpm gear cover and adjusted the slipper clutch due to me being a moron, I had to replace the spur gear but instead of me just un doing the 3 screws and pulling the old one off i decided to try to take the nut for the clutch almost off before i realized i didnt have to. (noob)i cut out my j concepts ford raptor svt x flow body and all the vents. Got the body partially painted. I am doing it with black and cobalt big drips (masked) so ill have pics up today.

This what I did to my short course today.

This is all for my 2wd Slash. Just finished replacing the 2 year old factory wheel bearings with full force bearings. New Traxxas wheel hub carriers (front and rear), plastic drive lines, steel differential output yokes, and rear stub axles. I also put RPM rear a-arms on that are meant for a 4wd slash and put the Traxxas rock guards on. :yuush::D

I am on my tablet or I would post pictures.

Replaced my broken Pro-line a-arm. It broke in the first five minutes of the first run. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

Ordered some 1/10 SC wheels and tyres for my 1/10 HSP/Exceed SCT which is more of a 1/12th so possibly did a slight MT conversion?

The next part to replace will be the tranny gears. Replaced what I posted earlier and ended up stripping the gears in the tranny with in the first 2 minutes of the test run. This was even with a used brushed motor that is smaller than the stock motor. Now I am going to have to break the Locktite lose on my new tranny output yokes.:tttt: Now I just need to wait till college gets out so I can have the time to tear it down and re-build it with steel gears.
