My first was a radio shack special in the late 80s:

Turbo T Buggy, a cliff ended it's life

My 1st kit truck in the early 90s:

Stadium Blitzer, a thief ended the life and fun with this truck

After my truck was stolen I didn't replace it, I got out of rc's all together until last year I started out with a Tmaxx 3.3 then went into the SCT SC10 racing.

For me it all started with a Tamiya Blackfoot which I later traded for a Kyosho Javelin. My neighbor had a Lunchbox and I swear we must have put a thousand miles on those. Javelin went away for an original Losi JRX2 and gold pan RC10. I wish I still had that Javelin cause thay are super rare. Gold anodized chassis and chain driven 4wd. Sexy.

If i remember right..mine wasnt even radio controlled, but remote controlled, and just went forward and backed up to the right, But it was a Smokey and the Bandit Trans Am from about 1981, I bet that thing might be worth something to Smokey and the Bandit Fans today. (if i didnt destroy it back when i was about 5 LOL.)

Ah I remember it like it was yesterday. It was called "Wild Thing"! Im sure it was a radio shack car, but dang it was fast! Made by Tyco I think.. WOW I found a pic of it on google!! Awesome!! That brings me back. I still have my first RC plane. got it when I was 12. A Kadet trainer with an OS 45FX. Still runs great!

I got my first hobby rc 5 years ago, an hpi E-savage and l still have it waiting for a brushless motor, that thing is a tank! never broke on me ever! but it has the worst turning ability I have ever seen, I don't think I have ever done a compete 360 without backing up going forward backing up going forward...;)

MAN, ClodBuster! Grasshopper! Such awesome memories. My first RC anything was a Dust Runner Honda ATC. I still have it after all these years :) Sadly it doesn't work, and I don't have the radio for it, but my youngest son still gets a kick out of pushing it around. Here is a pic of it...

Wow..now its got me thinkin about a resto job on it.

Man, I think I had something similiar to that, only it was blue and it was a Nikko. ;)
I then had a Tyco buggy(blue as well) from Toys 'R' Us that pretty much got destroyed when my uncle ran it over with his R/C Monster truck one too many times.

My first RC car was the tyco Bandit.I got it when i was 10 years old.My first real or good RC car was a Kyosho Raider kit.I was 12 years old when i got it.It was my first good RC car and First kit i put together.I just got back into RC's about 3 months ago.I didn't have much money to spend, so i bought a Dura Trax Evader Ext2 rtr. It's not the fastest car, about 20 mph stock with a onyx 5000 mah nimh battery in it.I have been bashing the heck out of it for the last 2 months. So far i broke one shock, and got it replaced with no problem. Then My steering servo broke. My brothers evader ext2 steering servo broke too.Stock servo had plastic gears. The teeth broke on them.We still were under the 90 day warranty. So Dura Trax sent us 2 Futaba servos.Futaba s3305 servo High torgue metal gear servo.Which sells for 52 dollars in RC stores and 35 dollars at the towerhobbies website.I couldn't believe that they sent us these servos. They could of sent the stock servo.Which would of lasted past are 90 day warranty. That is good customer service.I know i got off the topic alittle ,but i had to let people know about it.
